Carmen Griffith
Client Relations Specialist
Carmen Griffith is a Client Relations Specialist in Varghese Summersett’s Family Law Division, responsible for client communications and case management. She is dedicated to building and maintaining trusted relationships with our clients, providing them with clear and consistent communication during what is often a difficult time in their lives.
Carmen possesses exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and has a passion for helping others. She is generous with her time and energy and is committed to making life easier for our clients.
In addition to spearheading client communications, Carmen also assists with administrative issues and billing. Her passion for the law, strong work ethic, and positivity make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Background
Carmen was born and raised in Houston but moved to North Texas after high school to attend Texas Women’s University in Denton. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English, she worked as a legal assistant in the family law arena for many years. She took some time off to raise her two children, rejoined the legal field in 2016, and has worked in family law ever since.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys spending time with her husband and children – all of whom compete in “cup stacking” or “speed stacking,” a competitive sport that involves stacking plastic cups in specific sequences as quickly as possible. She also loves taking long walks every morning with her two large dogs.
Fun Fact: Carmen’s son, Trey Griffith, is one of the fastest cup stackers in Texas. Trey and his father are on Team USA, but in different age divisions. The family travels around the world, competing in cup-stacking competitions. Check out this YouTube video featuring Trey.
